Beyond the Classroom: Experience GCSE PE Cycling at the Olympic Park
March 11 @ 9:30 am – 12:30 pm
We’re excited to bring you an exclusive opportunity to delve into the world of GCSE PE Cycling at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Lee Valley VeloPark!
Jointly hosted by PE Scholar and The Cycle Coach, this event promises to be a thrilling insight into the skills and content delivered as part of a GCSE PE Track Cycling programme.
Why Attend?
The Cycle Coach recognises the challenges schools face in providing diverse sports options for Year 10/11 students studying GCSE PE. In response, they have introduced a tailored cycling programme for UK Secondary Schools. This programme aims to enhance GCSE PE practical performance and is carefully designed to align with AQA, OCR, and EdExcel specifications.
Special Presentation
We’re thrilled to have James Hey from The Cycle Coach present a deep dive into the 6-hour structured programme contributing to the practical performance criteria for GCSE PE. As the visionary behind The Cycle Coach, James is committed to providing a solution for GCSE PE pupils seeking a third sport.
Join us for an insightful discussion and practical track experience covering all aspects of the programme and the essential requirements for the performance assessment, moderated by AQA, OCR, and EdExcel.
This is an opportunity not to be missed, our event promises an enriching experience for all!
