Biography |
Emma is a multiliteracies practitioner and researcher with 20 years’ experience in education. She is a qualified teacher who has taught at all Key Stages and in Higher Education. She is also qualified in assessing and supporting learners with specific learning difficulties. She has a BA (Hons) in Politics, has since gained a Master’s in Inclusive Education and is now undertaking a PhD in Education at the University of Bristol. As a keen advocate for inclusion and social justice, Emma’s PhD research seeks solutions to any tensions between academic literacy and the personal literacies of students at university. Alongside her studies, she is also a Research Assistant and Cover Lecturer for the University of Gloucestershire’s School of Education.
