Matthew Trowbridge has 15 years experience at the coal face of Physical Education in the South Wales valleys. His role is now Director of Sport & Wellbeing at Aberdare Community School.

Matthew is currently adapting his practice and principles, leading a successful PE Department as they engage with changes in the Curriculum for Wales. The evolving M.O.V.E. model provides a basis for meaningful experiences and holistic progress in PE. Matthew’s ignition of merging the Curriculum for Wales using a conceptual approach was inspired by Lee Sullivan’s book “Is PE in Crisis?”.
