Unit plans with a difference look to provide teachers with suggested sequencing, content ideas and assessment themes to deliver American Football safely and effectively in schools. American Football is a great alternative to more traditional invasion style activities. The range of roles and responsibilities linked to each position lead to high levels of engagement and involvement from all pupils. As with most invasion games delivered within curriculum time, small sided games and activities are the most effective at maintaining engagement with a frequent rotation of roles also encouraged. All activities and content within this resource work effectively with contact and non-contact variations. For more information, check out www.BritishAmericanFootball.org/teaching-football-in-schools/
